Event Information from Innovate UK:

At this event, we will be focussing on enhanced food quality and are delighted to showcase a number of Innovate UK funded projects focussing on the post-farm gate food supply chain. We will also be welcoming leading specialists to discuss challenges and opportunities in the following areas:

  • A safe and efficient supply chain
  • Optimising food composition
  • Innovations in food processing and manufacturing
  • Waste valorisation

Attendees will be able to engage and network with a variety of organisations across the food and drink community and exchange knowledge on technical approaches and innovations across a range of areas, from enhancing nutritional value and improving food safety to developing modern methods of food manufacturing and ingredient development.

We would also like to take this opportunity to seek input from the Food Industry. This would be with a view to help shape the priorities for any future support should this become available.

FIN (Food Innovation Network) Innovation Awards

Joining us at the event will be the 15 companies who have been shortlisted for the FIN Innovation Awards. They will host exhibition booths for attendees to meet and speak with them and will present their projects at the event.
