About the role

Do you want a career in technology sales? We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start and grow their career in tech sales within the food industry. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of industry experience, be resilient, and excel in a fast-paced sales environment.

Your Role Will Involve

  • Generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting.

  • Maintain an organised pipeline and follow-up processes to ensure customer engagement.

  • Work closely with the sales team to accelerate sales cycle and reach business goals.

  • Attend industry conferences and events to network and generate leads.

  • Provide insights and feedback from the marketplace to help steer marketing strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the food industry

  • Proven track record in a customer facing role (recruitment, commercial etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational abilities and resilience in handling setbacks.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools.

  • A full UK driving licence
